What to include
Include a description of the work, the location/video ID of the allegedly infringing content, your contact details and authority, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised, and a signed statement of accuracy. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or sensitive information.
Assessment and appeals
After review, content may be restricted or removed. Content owners may submit a claim of error and evidence of their right to use the work. Counter-notices and repeat infringement must be assessed under applicable law.
DMCA applicability
Where US DMCA procedures apply, designated-agent registration, notice/counter-notice statements and statutory timelines must be completed by legal counsel. This page does not claim that a registered DMCA agent exists.
